If these areas of the house are bulging with things it will make it appear as though that house doesn't have enough storage room. It will make the house feel small. This is why it is best to de-clutter the closets and storage areas and only keep them about ¾ full.

3. Get Rid Of Signs Of Pets

If you have pets in the house you need to get rid of any sign that they reside there. There are many people that like pets, but there are equally as many people who think that pets are a deal breaker. Additionally, even people who love pets may not be excited about dealing with other people's pet's mess. This is why all sign that a pet is at the house should be removed during the showing.
